My good friend David Debiak asked me to record on New London Fire’s album “The Dirt, the Blood, the Faith”, way back in 2011. I’m so pleased to share with you our quarantine video of “The Other Side of Town” In David’s words: This song was originally written about the labor movement and the sacrifices unions made but it can easily be applied to our current situation. We have people being beaten and run over in the streets without provocation just to make the point that things are not equal for everyone and we need change. I applaud and support the BLM movement and have provided links for ways you can help. This is what we need to do with the 4th coming this weekend, we need a new Independence Day where all Americans are free. Take care of yourselves. Please enjoy Quartet405, LLC's cover of "Keep Your Head to the Sky" by one of my all time favorite bands: Earth, Wind, and Fire. This week Quartet405 is donating to www.blacktablearts.com, a Minnesota-based organization that gathers black communities through the arts. If you have the means and feel so inclined, please join us in support of this or any of the other organizations we have listed in the description. Stay well everyone, keep compassion in your hearts, and your head to the sky ❤️

I miss playing with bands live. This is from March, just days before the world turned upside down. Filmed at Yo Soy El Joselo in Mexico City.
